Since 2014, Queerwaves has been creating alternative spaces for dance, connection, and expression in Istanbul. Born out of a need for joy and resistance, the collective has evolved from underground parties into a platform that supports artists, nurtures community, and reshapes nightlife from the margins. Founded by Nots, Şevval Kılıç, Samy Winehouse, and Deepinoza, with Seçil Epik, Nursaç Güner, and Zeyno Erdost joining in 2017, Queerwaves continues to amplify voices that don't fit into the mainstream — with music always at the heart.
